Activity At a Glance

ANGEL's At a Glance tool brings course data to the forefront and assembles it in a simple graphic format that communicates immediately to the viewer. See updated summaries of recent course Logons, Mail Messages, Discussion Posts, Grade Distribution or Submissions every time you log in. Graphic displays illustrate recent course activity that give instructors immediate perspective into their students’ course activities. Simply click on the graph to navigate to more comprehensive information and options to take action – in one convenient location.

Course Guide Features

ANGEL’s Course Guide allows you to select the type of information or navigation you prefer and to expand or collapse it within the Course Guide window. Information displayed in the window is actionable – one click will provide more detail or offer quick navigation.

• Map: Navigate anywhere in your course, anytime, with the convenient Map tool. The Map displays your current course location and can be expanded or collapsed as needed. Clicking on the map allows you to navigate immediately to that area.
• What’s New: Viewers receive a quick visual update on what’s changed since a particular date or by login parameters. Users can expand views and even navigate to the source with one click.
• Tasks: Have a lot to do? ANGEL helps you keep it all straight by gathering tasks such as Milestones, Personal Tasks, Unread Mail and Ungraded Items in one easily accessible location. Simply click for a quick update or to take action.
• Search: Easily search your course content for that elusive bit of information you need right away. Appearing in the convenient Map area, Search is always available when you need it most.
• Design Help: Sometimes it’s not “how to use a feature,” it’s “how to approach pedagogy” that matters. Our Embedded Instructional Design gives you access to context sensitive suggestions from an experienced ANGEL user and instructional designer. Embedded Design Help can be easily edited, customized or turned off.
