For Immediate Release - Jan. 29, 2008

Indianapolis, Ind. – January 29, 2008 – ANGEL® Learning, recognized innovator of enterprise elearning software and services, today announced that the sixth annual ANGEL User Conference will be held in Cincinnati, Ohio, May 19 – 21, 2008. More than 600 ANGEL community members are expected to join the ANGEL team at the conference for three days of sharing, learning, networking and fun.

ANGEL User Sessions
Conference sessions delivered by ANGEL community members are the centerpiece of the conference. Sessions sharing successful strategies for impacting teaching and learning with the ANGEL Learning Management Suite (LMS) and ANGEL ePortfolio presented by educators who use ANGEL target the needs of:

  • Instructional designers, system administrators and IT personnel who implement and support ANGEL.
  • Higher education and K12 faculty who use ANGEL to augment instruction and deliver virtual classes.
  • New ANGEL community members who are managing their institution’s migrations to ANGEL.

New for 2008 is an executive leadership and program management track. These informative sessions will cover overall institutional needs and requirements.

ANGEL Team Sessions
ANGEL team sessions are another conference highlight. Beyond sharing ANGEL Learning’s vision for learning management system innovation in conference opening sessions, ANGEL team presentations invite community input into product development. ANGEL Learning’s commitment to open communication with the ANGEL community is an ANGEL Learning foundation that continues to draw new clients to the ANGEL community.

ANGEL Partner Participation
The conference will also feature a trade show of ANGEL’s strategic and business partners. Partner exhibits provide participants the opportunity to discover new ways to extend and complement their ANGEL implementations.

Who you meet can be just as informative as the sessions you attend. Scheduled networking opportunities include:

  • Pre-conference Regional User Group meetings organized by geographic region to develop strategies for community members to stay connected beyond the conference.
  • A kick-off reception featuring ANGEL partners who offer products that complement the ANGEL LMS.
  • The annual ANGEL IMPACT Awards ceremony to recognize exemplary ANGEL courses and programs and foster innovation and collaboration to further enrich the ANGEL community.
