Indianapolis, Ind. – January 29, 2008 – ANGEL® Learning, recognized innovator of enterprise elearning software and services, today announced that the sixth annual ANGEL User Conference will be held in Cincinnati, Ohio, May 19 – 21, 2008. More than 600 ANGEL community members are expected to join the ANGEL team at the conference for three days of sharing, learning, networking and fun.
ANGEL User Sessions
Conference sessions delivered by ANGEL community members are the centerpiece of the conference. Sessions sharing successful strategies for impacting teaching and learning with the ANGEL Learning Management Suite (LMS) and ANGEL ePortfolio presented by educators who use ANGEL target the needs of:
New for 2008 is an executive leadership and program management track. These informative sessions will cover overall institutional needs and requirements.
ANGEL Team Sessions
ANGEL team sessions are another conference highlight. Beyond sharing ANGEL Learning’s vision for learning management system innovation in conference opening sessions, ANGEL team presentations invite community input into product development. ANGEL Learning’s commitment to open communication with the ANGEL community is an ANGEL Learning foundation that continues to draw new clients to the ANGEL community.
ANGEL Partner Participation
The conference will also feature a trade show of ANGEL’s strategic and business partners. Partner exhibits provide participants the opportunity to discover new ways to extend and complement their ANGEL implementations.

ANGEL Products Training
To provide conference attendees added value, ANGEL’s Learning Solutions team is offering hands-on ANGEL training sessions on Monday, May 19 before the conference kick-off reception. Classes offered include: Advanced Programming Topics and Techniques; Using Agents, Tokens and Environment Variables; Using Assessments and Question Banks; Using ANGEL 7.3 Discussion Forums; Instructor Topics; Using Repositories, Master Courses and Content Templates; Programming Topics and Techniques; SQL Fundamentals; and, SQL Topics and Techniques.
The conference will be hosted in the Cincinnati convention center, the Duke Energy Center. The ANGEL IMPACT Awards ceremony will be held at Great American Ball Park, home of baseball’s first professional franchise and an inspiration for the conference theme: The ANGEL Learning Triple Play: Simple.
