ANGEL Learning Announces ANGEL User Conference 2009
For Immediate Release - Feb. 5, 2009
Indianapolis, Ind. – February 5, 2009 – ANGEL® Learning, a leading provider of enterprise eLearning software and services, today announced that the seventh annual ANGEL User Conference, AUC ’09: Reaching New Heights, will be held May 13 – 15 in Chicago. A group of 800 ANGEL community members, representing K-12 schools, higher education institutions, and ANGEL Learning partners, will join together to share how best to use the ANGEL Learning Management Suite (LMS) to support online and web-enhanced instruction.
AUC ’09 provides a forum for collaboration among educators.
As educational institutions increasingly rely on ANGEL LMS technology to provide flexible online education options, to engage today’s digital native students, and to provide a standards-based curriculum, AUC ’09 convenes faculty, technology support personnel, and school and college administrators from across North America to share successful strategies and best practices for implementing and supporting ANGEL adoptions to ensure high quality, highly successful teaching and learning experiences. New this year, Pathfinder Plenary Sessions will focus on important educational trends and offer solutions for addressing them with ANGEL products. Also new this year, Hands-On How-To sessions will provide participants increased interactivity.
AUC ’09 builds the educational community.
Conference Birds of Feather and poster breakfasts promote the lively exchange of ideas. Gatherings of ANGEL users by region build community and relationships that endure and grow beyond the conference. Hands-on pre-conference training workshops extend ANGEL expertise. Throughout the conference, attendees will have both scheduled and informal opportunities to share product development suggestions with the ANGEL Learning team. Actively soliciting input into product development is an ANGEL Learning hallmark that continues to draw new clients to the ANGEL community.
AUC ’09 will be hosted at the Chicago’s Marriott Downtown Magnificent Mile. The need to host the conference in a large city reflects the quick growth of the ANGEL community. The history of innovation, ability to respond positively to change, and strength of community that ANGEL Learning and the ANGEL community share with Chicago, along with the city’s impressive skyline, are the inspiration for the conference theme: Reaching New Heights.
AUC ’09 registration, the call for presentations, and IMPACT Award nominations are now open. For more information, visit the conference website http://www.angellearning.com/auc/ or email auc@angellearning.com.
