ANGEL Learning Releases ANGEL Learning Management Suite v. 7.3

Developed with ANGEL’s characteristic focus on providing a highly intuitive approach to managing workflow for students, educators and administrators, ANGEL 7.3 introduces a new dimension to the balance of simplicity, power and openness.
ANGEL’s user community contributed significantly to the conception and design of ANGEL LMS 7.3. Over one hundred specific suggestions from the community were realized in the new release. “It is clear to me that ANGEL Learning is committed to the customer. - Simplified Discussion Forum Management and Evaluation. Multiple view modes and search filters make it easy for instructors to find and act on discussion posts, either individually or in batch. ANGEL 7.3’s automated scoring rubrics allow the system to evaluate student behavior according to instructor-established rules.
- Algorithmic Questions Enhance Assessments. Instructors can now create numerical formula or logical substitution questions that are truly algorithmic but automatically graded. ANGEL’s algorithmic questions include variable definition tools, flexible rubrics allowing for partial credit and unit synonym scenarios.
- User-Interface Enhancements Ease Individual Customization. Drag-and-drop page editing, a new theme editor and a host of pre-packaged themes make it easy for every ANGEL user to personalize ANGEL.
- Improved Documentation Reduces Support Burdens. Interviews with ANGEL administrators and instructional designers led us to develop over 500 pages of new “Step-by-Step” tutorial documentation to assist in getting faculty on board and facilitate change management.

- Redesigned Administrator Console Advances Usability. ANGEL’s signature ease-of-use is now built into ANGEL’s Administrator Console. Drag-and-drop customization, batch operations and ready access to data simplify and streamline complex administrative tasks.
- Agent Technology Improves SIS Data Integration. The same powerful agent technology applied to helping faculty automate their work is now applied to designing and operating data administration tasks in ANGEL 7.3. Administrator tools assist in developing agents that perform file or web service operations at planned intervals for enrollment and course management without programming.
