Senior Technology Consultant
The ANGEL Professional Services team is currently looking for highly motivated people to join the team. In this role you will be responsible for the full life cycle of customer driven projects, from requirement gathering and design to delivering the solution to the customer. Your contribution directly impacts an institution’s ability to revolutionize the role technology plays in education.
RESPONSIBLE FOR:
- Interfacing with the customer to understand project requirements and meet user needs/expectations.
- Developing, testing and rolling out customized solutions.
- Maintaining and monitoring project schedules to meet quarterly corporate revenue goals.
- Staying aligned with new features released in the ANGEL core product.
- Keeping abreast of new technology and development tools.
EDUCATION and TRAINING:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, preferably in software engineering or computer science.
- Demonstrated development expertise with a minimum of 10 years software development experience.
- Proficient application developer with a minimum of 5 years experience developing commercial business applications.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft .NET development tools. Preference given to those candidates who have used them to develop commercial applications. (SQL Server, ASP.NET, ASP, IIS, DHTML, CSS and Javascript.)
SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE and SKILLS:
- Excellent analytical and design skills at product level.
- Good understanding of entire development process, including specification, documentation and quality assurance.
- Aware of business issues as they impact overall project plans.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Highly results-oriented.
- Honed organizational, decision-making and communication skills.
