In K12 settings, the ANGEL LMS opens possibilities for engaging students, but a lack of confidence in technology or a lack of experience with course management software can hinder teachers’ ability to embrace these learning opportunities. Forsyth has tackled these issues in an exemplary manner by creating five unique training courses targeting users of all skill levels designed to build confidence and encourage advanced use of ANGEL in the classroom: ANGEL Basics, ANGEL Instructor, ANGEL Instructor Advanced – Making ANGEL Work for You, Engaging Students with ANGEL, Keys to Quality Assessments.
In addition to creating ANGEL training courses, Forsyth has aggressively deployed the training. All 550 Forsyth high school teachers received ANGEL training in just two months. In less than one year, all 3,300 Forsyth teachers have participated in ANGEL training.
Training is positively impacting Forsyth's ANGEL adoption. The district's ANGEL site is averaging 1,700 visits and 174,000 ANGEL page views per day.
