Program Description:

With ANGEL and its ANGEL Operations Team, Penn State achieved its goal of implementing a web-based system that is easy for faculty to use while also creating a common learning environment available to faculty and students on all 24 Penn State campuses.

Penn State’s ANGEL Operations Team supports more than 71,000 student and faculty ANGEL users with 84% of students university-wide enrolled in at least one ANGEL course. This high rate of adoption of ANGEL has provided Penn State new ways to share course materials and effective pedagogical strategies and provided a framework for meeting other institutional needs. In addition to instructional uses, Penn State widely uses ANGEL groups. The Penn State ANGEL Operations Team supports more than 9,000 groups and a total of 131,000 group enrollments.
