Training Session: Using Assessments and Question Banks

Date: Monday, May 19th
Time: Offered as a morning (8 am – Noon) or afternoon session (1 pm - 5 pm). The same content will be covered in both the morning and afternoon sessions.

TRAINING TOPICS

Participants will learn the ins and outs of creating, grading and reviewing assessments; adding and maintaining keywords for assessments and questions; and building, searching and maintaining question banks. Specific topics and hands-on activities will include:

• Review new assessment options including Delivery Settings, Mastery Mode, Conditional Review Availability, etc.
• Create and maintain question banks using the Question Bank Manager
• Create and maintain assessment keywords using the Keyword Manager
• Create assessments using various question types
• Search, review and selectively add question pool questions
• Set delivery rules for groups of questions using question sets
• Grade and view detailed item analysis reports for student submissions

DELIVERABLES

Participants receive a copy of the ANGEL Assessments and Question Banks handout during the training.
