Software Engineer

As a Software Engineer on the Professional Services team, you will be responsible for the full life cycle of customer driven projects, from requirement gathering and design through solution delivery to the customer. Your contribution will directly impact institutions' ability to revolutionize the role technology plays in education. 

RESPONSIBLE FOR:

• Interfacing with the customer to understand project requirements and meet user needs/expectations.
• Developing, testing and rolling out customized solutions.
• Maintaining and monitoring project schedule to meet quarterly corporate revenue goals.
• Staying aligned with the new features released in the core ANGEL product.
• Keeping abreast of new technology and development tools.

EDUCATION and TRAINING:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, preferably in software engineering or computer science.
• Proficient application developer with a minimum of 2 years experience developing commercial business applications.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft .NET development tools.  Preference given to those candidates who have used them to develop commercial applications.  (SQL Server, ASP.NET, ASP, IIS, DHTML, CSS and Javascript)

• Excellent analytical and design skills at product level.
• Good understanding of entire development process, including specification, documentation and quality assurance.
• Aware of business issues as they impact overall project plans.
• Good communications and interpersonal skills.
• Highly results-oriented.
• Honed organizational, decision-making and communication skills.
