K-12 Market Specialist
The primary responsiblities of the K-12 Market Specialist include:
- Act as the principle champion and evangelist for the K-12 market segment within ANGEL as well as to the external market.
- Stay abreast of K-12 market trends and conditions, conduct marketing research into the K-12 segment and influence product development necessary to support growth within the K-12 market.
- Manage all marketing communications, promotional efforts and lead generation initiatives specific to the K-12 segment.
- Support and work with sales to develop and maximize K-12 sales opportunities.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- College degree required. Major in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or Journalism preferred.
- At least 5 years of product management or marketing communications required.
- Relevant experience working within the K-12 market as an educator or provider of educational products and/or services is highly desired.
SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS :
- Familiarity with standard marketing concepts, practices and procedures.
- Ability to analyze marketing information and make product, messaging and communication recommendations.
- Experience with a variety of marketing communications vehicles including public relations, events and trade shows, collateral, lead generation, direct marketing and website content development.
- Excellent verbal and written communications, self-motivated and independent, ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities, and ability to work well with staff and customers and represent the company in a positive and professional manner.
- Expert-level proficiency with Word, Excel and PowerPoint; experience with NetSuite a plus
